WORLD POLIO DAY 2020 IN DURHAM REGION: OCT 22 FROM 7 TO 8:30 PM VIA LIVESTREAM:  

You are invited to join with the 10 Durham Region  Rotary Clubs, live from the new Global Classroom in the new Centre for Collaborative Education at Durham  College where we will celebrate World Polio Day with leaders from around the world. This year, it is online.

Everyone is invited from all every Rotary and Rotaract club in District 7070 and all over the world . Proclamations presentations and flag raisings from the 8 City and Region to our 10 clubs in Durham Region , thanking them for Rotary's support , from our mayors of the 8 communities in Durham Region, will also be shown by video.

Then, Dr. Bob Scott, the immediate past chair of Rotary’s PolioPlus Committee (worldwide) will be our keynote speaker. He will update everyone on Rotary’s latest efforts to eradicate polio from this world. He will be talking LIVE with Ian Riseley, Past President Rotary International)  and he may connect  with  PolioPlus Volunteers from around the world.
