Members of the 4 Rotary Clubs of Oshawa, Oshawa-Parkwood, Whitby, Whitby-Sunrise, together with many family members joined forces, in a COVID responsible environment, and partnered with Kids Against Hunger Canada to purchase and to pack more than 36,000 meals, in one day, on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the Jubilee Pavilion, in Lakeview Park, Oshawa , it was announced today by the Ted Morrison, Past District Governor of Rotary International District 7070 and chair of the event. The four Rotary Clubs have paid for the food with the help of a Rotary Foundation District Grant and with an efficient assembly line of volunteers dressed in aprons, plastic gloves and hair nets, all 36,000 meals will be packed and ready to ship in short order. Kids Against Hunger Canada packages and ships highly nutritious, life-saving meals to starving and malnourished children within Canada and developing countries around the world. Thank you everyone.
